The grounded game has many secrets to uncover like secret locations, buried treasure chests, and keys. But some of them are a little hard to find out. So in this article, we are going to uncover all these secret keys and treasure chest locations. It is an action-adventure game that surprises us with secret missions and places. Grounded has four treasure chests located in different locations of the game. These locations are not easy to find out. That’s why you need to search very carefully which is a time-consuming task.

Every chest contains a missing BURG.L chip also called an Auxiliary chip. The treasure chests also contain some raw science and a secret recipe note that helps to craft a secret weapon.

The Sunken Treasure Chest is located down in the pond’s depth near the T-Rex toy. To reach that location, you need to go near the juice box near the Oak tree and then jump into the water. Now just follow the bubbles coming from the pond depth and you will see a giant T-Rex toy. But before going down, we recommend you that wear a “bubble helmet” and fin flops gears which will help you to swim better. The T-Rex is the entrance location of the Pond lab. When you reach there, just follow the straight path until you will not see the sunken treasure chest. When you find this chest, you need a secret key that’s the “Mossy Key” to open it. This chest contains the Sunken Treasure BURG.L chip aka Outpost chip as well as mega milk molar.

Minotaur Maze Chest

The Minotaur Maze Chest is the easiest treasure chest to find out. It is located on the top of the Picnic table maze where lots of bees hoovering. To get this Maze chest you need better armor and weapon because bees will not bear you after all. To reach the picnic table just head toward the shovel and blast the rock beneath the shovel by throwing the wrapper bomb. It will take down the shovel and you can climb easily on the picnic table. The Minotaur Maze key is required to open it and this chest has a SCAB, Mega milk molar, and missing Picnic BURG.L chip.

You can find the Minotaur Maze key under the “Exposed Pipe” located near the large shovel.

Sandbox Treasure Chest

You will find the third treasure chest in the Sandbox area where lots of Antlion insects are waiting for you. The Sandbox area was added in the Hot and Hazy game update. The Sandbox has many buried treasures to dig but the Sandbox chest is the main one because it contains the deadly weapon “Salt Morning Star” recipe note. However, while you search for the chest, please stay away from your new antlion friends.

After reaching the Sandbox area, search for the Sand Palace surrounded by water. Now dive into the water and search for the treasure chest. But when you’ll find the treasure chest, it will be locked already. Now you need to find a secret key named “Melted Moat Key” to open this chest. You can find this Melted Moat Key near the Sandbox lab. It’s buried and you need to dig out it with the help of a shovel tool.

After getting the secret key, it is time to open the treasure chest and get the “Water Logged Recipe Note” that will unlock the deadly weapon (Salt Morning Star) recipe.

Upper Yard Treasure Chest

This is the last treasure chest you can find in the game. The chest is located inside the old tire. The tire is located in the center of the upper yard near the Javamatic machine. Now get inside the tire and look out for the treasure chest. This chest needs the Sticky key to open and this key is well hidden in the game. So probably you will not find it for the first time and there is a good chance that you probably never find this key alone.

Where To Find Sticky Key?

The Sticky key is located in the upper yard of the garden near the lawnmower. To get the Sticky key, you need to first find the location of the lawnmower on the map. Once find the location head toward the left handle of the lawnmower and then reach the top of the ladder. After reaching there, please keep moving left until you don’t see the vines on the brick wall at the end of the ladder. Now jump on the vine leaf and stay close to the brick wall. This vine will take you to the exact location of the Sticky key. Its name is Sticky Key because it is stuck with the bubblegum.
